Privacy policy
Oʻahu Home Pros ("we") runs oahuhomepros.com, a free service that gives Oʻahu homeowners cost estimates and connects them with participating local contractors. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Information you enter: your name, phone number, email, ZIP code, preferred contact method, and details about your home or service need (for example your estimate, risk-check answers or reminder dates).
- Photos you choose to upload with the photo check.
- Your consent record: the consent wording you agreed to and when you agreed to it.
- Contractor applications: company name, contact details, license number, services and service area.
- Technical data: basic information our hosting and security providers process to run the site, such as an anonymous session ID.
How we use it
- To match your request with a participating contractor who serves your area and the service you need.
- To send the maintenance reminders you sign up for.
- To contact you about your request.
- To run, secure and improve the site.
Who we share it with
When you submit a request, we share your contact details and request details with up to 3 participating contractors so they can contact you. Contractors pay us a fee for these referrals. We also use service providers that host and run the site (Google Firebase) and send email on our behalf. We don't sell your information to data brokers or marketers outside this referral service.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts.
- Reply to any reminder email to stop reminders.
- Email us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We'll ask contractors who received your request to stop contacting you.
How long we keep it
We keep request records for as long as needed to provide the service, keep records of consent, and meet legal and billing requirements, then delete them.
